Broken Whistle is a Celtic band from eastern WA. Using three fiddles, an upright bass, rich vocal harmonies, and a wide variety of acoustic instrument combinations, Broken Whistle showcases the Celts' living, lyrical drive, to audiences everywhere. The band emphasizes variety in Celtic music, with sensitive traditional ballads, dazzling contemporary reels, and compelling vocals. All five players—David McGuire (guitar, whistles), Chris Reichert (vocals, assorted strings), Kelcey Hanson (fiddle, mandolin), Ella Wilkinson (fiddle, bass), and Justus Morgan (bodhrán, cajon)—bring infectious passion and skill to every performance.
